BIGBANG concluded their world tour in the U.S successfully their New Jersey concerts on November 8th and 9th after their Los Angeles concerts the previous week.
Over 48,000 fans were in attendance for their concerts, as BIGBANG became the best-selling Korean artists ever for a concert with this achievement.
The success was especially meaningful in that the weather conditions were not favorable in New Jersey during the time.
New Jersey was one of the states greatly affected by Hurricane Sandy with some in the state still feeling the aftereffects. The day before Big Bang’s concert, New Jersey was hit by a nor’easter which made even transportation a challenge for the group. But thankfully, the enthusiasm and passion of the fans never waned and they were rewarded time and time again with thrilling performances by the BIGBANG members.
Many local media like CNN, TIME Magazine, New York Times, Billboard, FUSE TV, SPIN, and others all carried reports on BIGBANG's concert progression.
The sell-out of their 'Alive Galaxy Tour 2012' concerts also certified the group's insane popularity in the States.
BIGBANG increased their visual appeal with the stage outfits especially created for the tour, performing some 23 songs including their hit songs like ‘Still Alive’, ‘Lies’, ‘Haru Haru’, ‘Heaven’ and ‘Fantastic Baby’ as well as some of the solo songs by the members for an exciting concert.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG will end their tour of the American continent with a concert in Peru on November 14th. Thereafter, BIGBANG will continue with their world tour with stops in Hong Kong, England, and Japan.

빅뱅이 허리케인과 눈 폭풍을 뚫고 첫 미국 콘서트를 성황리에 마쳤다.
지난 11월 2일과 3일(미국 현지시간) 월드투어 ‘얼라이브 갤럭시투어 2012’의 LA공연을 성공적으로 끝낸 빅뱅은 11월 8일과 9일 뉴저지주 뉴와크 프루덴셜센터에서 개최한 콘서트까지 무사히 끝냈다.
이번 콘서트로 빅뱅이 미국에서만 동원한 관객수는 총 4만 8천 석. 한국 가수의 미국 공연 최다 관객 동원이기도 하다.
빅뱅의 뉴저지 공연은 기후적으로 어려운 여건 속에서 진행된 것이라 의미를 더했다.
허리케인 ‘샌디’로 인해 큰 피해를 입었던 지역인 뉴저지는 공연 전날 눈 폭풍 ‘노리스터’ 마저 상륙해 멤버들이 공연장까지 이동하는 데에도 큰 어려움이 있었다. 이런 상황 속에서 진행된 콘서트라서 인지 그 어느 공연장보다도 열기가 뜨거웠다.
빅뱅의 뉴저지 공연에는 CNN은 물론 뉴욕타임즈, 뉴요커, 빌보드, FUSE TV, SPIN매거진 등 현지 유력 매체들이 대거 취재를 오는 등 큰 관심을 받았다.
빅뱅의 이번 월드투어는 개최하는 곳마다 티켓이 매진되어왔는데, 이번 미주 공연 역시 LA와 뉴저지, 페루 리마까지 전부 매진되면서 월드투어라는 명성에 걸맞은 인기몰이를 이어가고 있다.
미주 공연을 위해 새롭게 제작된 화려한 무대의상으로 시작부터 눈길을 사로 잡은 빅뱅은 ‘스틸얼라이브’를 시작으로 ‘거짓말’ ‘하루하루’ ‘천국’ ‘판타스틱 베이비’ 등의 히트곡과 멤버들의 솔로곡을 포함에 총 23곡을 쉬지 않고 열정적인 무대로 선보였다.
미국에서 성공적으로 콘서트를 마친 빅뱅은 11월 14일 페루를 끝으로 미주투어를 마무리할 예정이다. 미주투어가 끝난 이후에는 홍콩, 영국, 일본 돔 투어를 돌며 올 한 해를 마무리 한다.
